Just for Fun-Rain in the ATL

So last weekend some of my favorite G-ville photo peeps came to visit. From the whistles of Andrew Bird in little Five, to the swimming of the Birds in Piedmont Park, this weekend was just what I needed. Its amazing what you can create when your with your favorite photogs, stuck under a gazebo in the rain all being creative over each others shoulders. LOVE IT!

The Calm before the Storm...I believe we are suppose to see that life moves smooth when things are out of line ;)

Just a little re-creation action... Henri Cartier-Bresson anyone?!? What decisive moment;)

Softball.... Brookwood 5 Grayson 3

High school Softball for the Gwinnett Daily Post...Grayson AT Brookwood....
P.S. I love shooting the documentary story I have been shooting all summer, but it felt so good to be back in a newsroom this afternoon, and to be back shooting sports is so incredible;)

Center fielder Jamey Chapman is safe at home sliding under Grayson pitcher Mandi Burns' tag, putting Brookwood on the board during the bottom of the first inning Wednesday night. The lady Broncos continued on to beat the lady Rams of Grayson 5-3 at Brookwood in Snellville Georgia.

Brookwood shortstop Kacie Shields, slides into home plate Wednesday night during the 6th inning putting the lady Broncos in the lead. Brookwood continued on to win the game against the Grayson Rams 5-3.

Brookwoods Sydney Moore is tagged out on second base by Graysons Shannon Bear ending the second inning of Wednesday nights game. Brookwood wins 5-3.

Kayla Neeley of Grayson, prepares to run home during the 6th inning of Wednesday nights game against Brookwood at Broookwood. Brookwood wins 5-3.

The next two images are from a collision in Center Field, both girls are fine after taking a few seconds to collect themselves. They not only pumped heads, but the ball hit them as well.

Brookwoods Jamey Chapman and Shauini Ghodadra colide in the outfield Wednesday night during the 7th inning of the lady Broncos game against the Grayson lady Rams. Brookwood wins 5-3.

UGA 35 Oklahoma State 14

This weekend I got to shoot UGA football for the Gwinnett Daily Post. It felt so good to be on the side lines for the start of college football season, even if I was focused on Red and Black, and not my loyal Orange and Blue. It was just so great to have a camera to my eye and football through my lens. AND, you want to know a secret...I wore my gators socks during the UGA game!!!! but SHHH... thats our little secret;)

O yeah, might I add I shot the hole game with either my 200 2.8 or my 300 5.6 lens I had to dig out of the bottom of my closet. Both very challenging, so given the circumstances this is what I got;)Enjoy!

UGA Coach Mark Richt leaves the team huddle before Saturdays game against Oklahoma State.

UGA students use their bodies as canvases Saturday afternoon in support of the Georgia Bull"Dawgs" season opener against Oklahoma State

Touch Down GEORGIA...

Run MATT Run....

Thats some MAD air.. too bad he didn't block it like Jarvis Moss did last year for the gators during the South Carolina game;)

Awwww those Cowboys really thought they had a chance

Good Game

So during half time the UGA gymnastics team got a chance to be recognized on the side lines. While they were waiting for the clock to run down, they found a celebrity who was making a guest appearance and decided to take some photos with. Hello Andre from Outcast. And yes, I can truly say he really is a great dresser;)

I just really liked this shot!
