Disheveled Downtown

Tornado rolls through
Disaster Happens
Life moves on.... What a vicious cycle

After being in Florida for three weeks I came back to find my city with a little less glass on the skyscrapers, and a little more kayos on the closed streets.

A mask of Glass....

... or lack there of.

Four of Atlanta's finest take to the streets modeling their new glass-less fashion along with their alter egos.

Man it feels good to have the boys back in town.

Drum Circle

The Sarasota Drum Circle is to Photographers in Sarasota as Face Painting photos are to Students in JOU3601

Sometimes though, they are the exact thing you need to force you to pick up your camera and shot through your funk...

Easter sunsets on the beach with a tourist filled drum circle.. Oh the memories of high school.

Tourist surround...

"I've been in Sarasota now for three years, but I grew up in Haiti with the hole drum circle thing," said Ben White a resident drummer at the circle. "Being here makes me feel right at home."

Intensity builds...

Shawn Bowen,10 year veteran drummer at the circle and owner of a local drum shop.

Sun Sets...

Marguerite Barnett, M.D., P.A. sword dances at sunset

Happy Easter!

Tooth Fairy

Does the tooth fairy still come at age 23?!? If so, sign me up. This is a big one!

This is what happens when you wait to get your wisdom teeth pulled and your routes get tangled. OUCH. And to think, this is only one tooth.

Forced to Tan at the Crossroad

For the past few weeks I have been in Sarasota visiting family and getting my wisdom teeth yanked out of my head. (photos to follow once my cheeks deflate) I finally felt a little better the other day and decided to take a walk with my grandparents around one of my favorite places in Sarasota...

You would never guess after looking at my images that I'm at this giant crossroad in my life right now. Would you?!?

I am beginning to realize that the only way I am going to snap out of my photo funk is to turn the camera on me, and dig deep inside for renewed inspiration to continue forward in this craft that I have passionately chosen to devote my life to practice.
