Ghost Tours

So I had to work Halloween night, and I'm not going to lie I am not a huge fan of Halloween (I get scared way to easily..lol)So my assignment brought me to downtown Lawrenceville to participate in a ghost tour.. BOO!

Madame Macabre is a ghost tour guide storyteller from the Aurora Theatre in downtown Lawrenceville. On Halloween night she leads a group of visitors around the mile and a half path leading through the old county Jail. Ghost tours run from May through October and can be arranged for private tours in the off months.

Pumpkin Feature

Just a little pumpkin out-take form my feature hunting the week before Halloween. There was a large pumpkin patch on Lawrenceville-Suwanee road that had huge inflatable pumpkin bounce houses, and we know how much I love the bounce houses;) Meet 8 year-old Hailey Gaudette who as of four days before Halloween still did not know what she was going to be.

Family Time

This weekend I headed up north to the NJ/NY cost to visit the fam and shoot a wedding. Meet my Grandparents, Pete and Ann Marie Costa, married 50 years and still as in Love as they were when they met on the Jersey Shore in the 50's. Together they have been Pen-Pals through army times, Mom and Dad to five children, and now Grandma and Grandpa to seven.

It wouldn't be going to Grandpa's house if we didn't walk to the beach and go fishing...

Athens

I got a call from a friend who runs Tutoring Zone at UGA in Athens, and the assignment was to bring some color to a black and white town. This is just a sample of the way I saw Athens, and what you can soon see on the walls of Tutoring Zone.

B-17 Flight

The B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" came through Gwinnett County on Thursday and I got the assignment to shoot it. Now, as many of you know my mom's a pilot and my dad was one as well. I grew up flying with my parents and always having airplanes around me, so anytime I have the opportunity to get back in the air I jump at it. Thursday's assignment turned out cooler than I expected. I went with an intention to produce a sound slide (which I did, YAY), but I did not go in thinking I would get to meet a World War II veteran who was a B-17 pilot. So quickly I redirected my focus to him being on flight with me as opposed to just the plane coming to town. So, meet Jerry Sheffer. This was his first time back in a B-17 since the war, and he said that it will most likely be his last. Check out my SOUNDSLIDE

Falcon Flowers

A few of the Falcon players surprise some 4th and 5th graders at Rockbridge Elementary to help them plant flowers out front of their school. A fun afternoon with a lot of laughs...
