So Wednesday night on my way to an all-nighter in the lab I stopped by the candle light vigil at the Reitz that they had in memory of the students and faculty at Virginia Tech.

Last Time Together
Friday night, the 2007 National Championship UF Basketball team took the stage in the O'Dome for the last time as one team. With two seniors graduated and four juniors headed to the NBA this very well might be the last time they are all together in the arena that brought so many memmories both to them as players, and to their fans who watched them play.
So, along with some of the players from the team, this was my last time covering a basketball event in the O'Dome. After two great seasons of Gator Basketball and Football, I now turn to baseball and some random off bet sports to wrap up my sports time here at UF. The next time I will be in the O'Dome is for graduation in three weeks... Now thats SCARY;)

The Man Stays... The Boys Go....
Thursday afternoon, the Gator Basketball team held a press conference to address the decision of head coach billy Donovan to STAY and the juniors, better known as the '04s, to LEAVE for the NBA Draft. Corey Brewer, Joakim Noah, Al Horfod and Tauren Green had an emotional afternoon as they spoke of their friendship with eachother and their enjoyment of the University of Florida. They also said that it was just right for them to leave together, they would not want to leave one behind. The four, also roommates, will be leaving UF with two national championships and go down in history as a part of the best basketball team to play at UF.
