I spent my first day in San Fransisco with the lovely Mei-ling. We haven't been in the same place since the metro in Barcelona three years ago when we said "see ya later" to each other following our amazing study abroad. It is always an adventure with us! Within the first few hours of me being there we set out to find a reading chair for her room and wound up finding one.. just not at pier one or bed bath and beyond, but at a sushi restaurant down the street from her China Town apartment. We saw it in the window and asked if they would consider selling it to us. They agreed. 20 dollars later the two of us were carrying this chair, in the sprinkling rain, down the street and around the corner. This photo was taken just before we attempted to carry it up three flights of stairs. ;) Such an adventure...Sweet Success
