Math Fair- Cedar Hill Elementary


After answering either an addition or multiplication questions based on their grade level, students where given a shape sticker in which they could trade in for a trip down the giant blow up slide or a turn in the bounce house.

Students gather to pick out of Kindergarten Teacher Tee McSpadden's prize bucket after participating in math activities Thursday night. Each classroom math activity offered prizes for the students who participated.


Cedar Hill Elementary School's art teacher Anna Sitting paints a plus sign on 3rd grader Janice Fung's face as 2nd grader Justin Fung and their mother wait near by. Students had the choice between math symbols or numbers which could all be painted in their favorite color.


Kindergartner Dylan Conte and his mother Stephanie McCune estimate that there are 62 Tootsie Rolls sealed in the bottle while stopping in the estimation station Thursday night during the math instructional fair at Cedar Hill Elementary.
