Gwinnett Citizens for Peace Mitchell Silvers, Chantel Evans,15, and Christin Evans,16, join with other protesters as they stand on the corner of Scenic Highway and Ronald Reagan Parkway Friday afternoon in protest of the War in Iraq. Today's demonstration marked the first of Snellville’s involvement in the national Iraq Moratorium demonstrations.


Fifth grade teachers and faculty at Norcross Elementary School gather together Monday morning to discuss the Power Lunch mentoring program that will debut in Gwinnett county beginning at Norcross Elementary and Susan Stripling Elementary. The mentoring program will bring in professionals from the area to read aloud to students during their lunch break.


Third year students Kristina O'Conner, Russ Churchwell and Amy Gessford run a routine simulated drill on dummy STAN while Dr. William Craver observes and critiques. Students are given hypothetical emergency room situations and are challenged to react and diagnose based on the condition behind the pain.
